Today, we set out on a gentle loop through the vineyards surrounding Kaysersberg, one of Alsace’s most picturesque towns. The route offers a relaxed introduction to the region’s famed wine country, with rolling terrain and scenic village roads guiding our way.
Our journey winds through the heart of the vignoble, where neatly lined vines stretch across the hillsides and traditional half-timbered villages appear at every turn. The pace is easy, allowing time to soak in the charm of the landscape and the quiet rhythm of rural life.
Along the way, we’ll enjoy sweeping views over the valley and perhaps pause in a village square or beside a vineyard for a moment of rest. This loop is all about easing into the region—combining gentle cycling with classic Alsatian scenery and the timeless appeal of its wine-growing heritage.

Today, we embark on a westward loop through the picturesque towns of Turckheim and Munster, gradually climbing into the foothills of the Vosges Mountains. The route winds through forested hillsides and peaceful valleys, offering a mix of natural beauty and local charm.
Our journey culminates at the Linge Memorial, a poignant site that commemorates the intense battles of 1915 during World War I. Here, visitors can reflect on the region’s history while taking in sweeping views across the Vosges, blending cultural insight with scenic exploration.

Today, we head north on a scenic ride along the famed Route des Vins d’Alsace, tracing gentle roads that weave through rolling vineyards and storybook landscapes. This stretch of the wine route showcases some of the region’s most iconic villages, where half-timbered houses, cobblestone lanes, and vibrant floral displays create a postcard-perfect setting.
Along the way, we pass through Ribeauvillé and continue on to Riquewihr—often celebrated as one of the most beautiful villages in France. Both towns blend medieval charm with a rich winemaking heritage, offering plenty to admire as we explore by bike or on foot.
With opportunities to take in vineyard views, sample local culture, and enjoy the quintessential Alsatian scenery that has made this route world-renowned.

Our destination is Neuf-Brisach, a remarkable fortified town recognised as a UNESCO World Heritage site. Designed by Sébastien Le Prestre de Vauban, its perfectly preserved star-shaped ramparts stand as a masterpiece of 17th-century military architecture.
Along the way, we’ll enjoy the open landscapes and peaceful atmosphere that define this part of Alsace, with long, uninterrupted views across fields and waterways. This loop combines tranquil cycling with a fascinating glimpse into history, offering a unique perspective on the region beyond its vineyards and hills.
